Hair Care During Fall Season
Winter is just around the corner and the temperature is dropping. Changes in humidity level alter the hair moisture level and this affects the physical and cosmetic properties of hair.
Because of their distinct curl pattern, curly hairs are unique among all other hair types. The curl size and form vary from one person to the next, depending on the hair cortex's inner structural features.
Curly hairs are fragile and differ in their moisture content, diameter, and elasticity compared to other hair types.
One of the most astonishing things about curly hair is how quickly and drastically it responds to seasonal weather changes. Your curls can become frizzy in dry or humid weather, which impacts how well-defined they are. In high humidity, they might appear distorted.
Cold and low temperatures during the winter, as well as gusty windy conditions, makes it difficult to manage and style curls.
In order to keep your hair looking its best during winter, you need to use curly care products to protect hair against these harsh winter conditions and preserve moisture.
Our Righteous Roots products will help you get through the fall and winter season while keeping your hair healthy, moisturized, and defined.
Let's take a look at some of the products in the collection.
Tailoring Your Regimen with Righteous Roots Products
We have three products that will help you keep your curls moisturized, even in lower humidity and temperature conditions.
- Righteous Roots Clarifying Shampoo
- Righteous Roots 2 in 1 Conditioner & Leave In
- Righteous Roots Oils
Righteous Roots Clarifying Shampoo
Our cleanser is formulated to be mild and gentle. It contains a blend of mild anionic, amphoteric, and non-ionic surfactants.
It comprises Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Methyl Oleoyl Taurate, along with Lauryl, and Coco-Glucosides.
These cleansing agents have an excellent safety profile, low toxicity, and great foamability while leaving curls with a natural texture and outlook. They won't remove the lipids from your hair, which helps to preserve its natural emollience.
The shampoo contains a number of natural moisturizing agents. Besides glycerin (which is a potent humectant), it contains corn-derived propanediol.
Propanediol is a naturally green and sustainable deep moisturizing agent that imparts water molecules to hair without causing any stickiness or heaviness.
The formulation also contains a blend of natural emollients particularly (e.g. Grapefruit Peel Oil, Baobab Oil, Avocado Oil, & Butyrospermum Parkii Shea Butter).
These emollients provides a fine, protective layer on the hair shaft that will help keep curls moisturized and preserve their condition against harsh winter weather conditions.
Righteous Roots 2 in 1 Conditioner & Leave In
Righteous Roots Hair conditioner and Leave-In is a multi-task product that can be used as a rinse-off conditioner as well as a leave-in conditioner.
The product helps to remove knots and tangles, as well as align the cuticles. A combination of cationic actives and natural emollients is used in the formulation. This helps to ensure that your hair has amazing slip while also minimizing friction when combing wet or dry.
To help curls with moisture, the product contains a combination of humectants and emollients. Panthenol and glycerin work effectively to maintain the water balance with the changing humidity conditions, while the natural oils form a water-resistant coating on the hair shaft preventing the evaporation of water molecules from the hair's inner structure.
Shea Butter, Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Jojoba Seed Oil, and Baobab Oil is a versatile combination promising superb conditioning, emollience, and lubrication without causing any greasiness, heavy feel, and tackiness. This is an ideal combination for the low humidity conditions.
Righteous Roots Oils
Natural oils and butter are key ingredients for hair care. Their versatile properties with special aesthetic benefits make them ideal for curly hair.
Curly hair needs the right combination of products to look its best, and Mother Nature offers a wide range of options ranging from heavy occlusive butter to light textured oils.
Righteous Roots oils contain a unique blend of all-natural ingredients that may help to condition your hair and preserve moisture, even in harsh environments.
Coconut oil is used as the product based mixed with Black Jamaican Castor Oil. Castor Oil is a unique natural oil composed of hydroxyl-fatty acid that offers great moisturizing benefits.
The Olive Oil and Sesame Seed Oil present in the mix provide strong antioxidant benefits. Both contain a high dosage of vitamin E which is a known potent free radical scavenger, boosting scalp health and slowing down the aging process of scalp cells. It also helps protect hair proteins, lipids, and scalp cells against solar radiation.
